...the house...

CasaRoc is our two bedroomed, two storey village house at number 6, Cirineo Street, Sella. The land slopes steeply here and the native rock of the hillside pokes up into the house in several rooms. Cirineo is too narrow for car traffic so it’s usually very quiet.

We designed the house to fit in with traditional local styles and to take advantage of the views and the light. There’s a really big terrace with views across to the Campana Puig mountain, and all the rooms have as much double-glazed window space as possible so the overall effect is bright and airy

Winter evenings can be cool so there’s a wood burning stove in the living room and butane stoves for other rooms. Although designed for  4, we have equipped the house for 6 so guests can use the two extra camp beds if required.

The master bedroom has a double bed and the second room, downstairs, two singles.  All sheets and towels are provided and changed regularly and there are no extras to pay—fuel and gas are included.

In the living room you’ll find a TV and DVD player with a small library of films and there are books, maps of the area and walking guides as well as boxed games and jigsaws.

The kitchen has a fridge -freezer, washing machine, gas hob and electric fan-oven. There’s always a good supply of fresh herbs from the hillsides—especially rosemary and thyme

bed and breakfast… B&B guests will be able to start their day with a fresh continental breakfast served in the dining-room from 8.00 till, well, whenever you like really. Breakfast is designed to be healthy and, where possible, sourced locally, it will usually consist of:

Tea or fresh coffee, fresh orange juice, cereals, yogurt, fruit, fresh bread and toast, jams, local honey, butter, boiled eggs if requested,

pets...You are welcome to bring your pets with you and we'll try to make them comfortable too.
