Casa Santa Ana
In the Carrer de LīOm, just above the church of Santa Ana ( hence its
name), this is a luxury house
with three bedrooms and room for 6. The whole house retains its original
style and charm - wooden beams, and rafters, the original doors and
fittings in most of the house - you get some idea of what it was like to
live the country life of the well-off Valencian farmer. But then the
improvements - some double glazing upstairs, wood-fired stove to back up
the mobile gas room-heaters, a wonderful kitchen, really
comfortable lounge sofas, a spacious terrace... The main
bedroom on the first floor has a full sized, en-suite bathroom. The
terrace has breathtaking views over the village and the mountains. This
is a very special house, restored with great taste and charm and with
respect for local building traditions.
